ദമ്മാം: സൗദി അറേബയില്‍ മലപ്പുറം സ്വദേശി വാഹനാപകടത്തില്‍ മരിച്ചു. വള്ളിക്കുന്ന് അത്താണിക്കല്‍ സ്വദേശി ഷൗക്കത്തലി ആണ് മരിച്ചത്.

ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ ജുബൈല്‍ ദമ്മാം ഹൈവേയില്‍ ആണ് അപകടം നടന്നത്. റിയാദില്‍ നിന്നും ജോലിയാവശ്യാര്‍ഥം ജുബൈലിലേക്ക് പോകുകയായിരുന്നു ഷൗക്കത്തലി.

ഷൗക്കത്തലി ഓടിച്ചിരുന്ന വാഹനത്തിന്റെ ടയര്‍ പഞ്ചറായതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയപ്പോള്‍ എതിരേ വന്ന വാഹനം ഇടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

ഇരുപത് വര്‍ഷമായി സൗദിയില്‍ സെയില്‍സ് മേഖലയില്‍ ജോലി ചെയ്തു വരികയായിരുന്നു. ഖത്തീഫ് സെന്‍ട്രല്‍ ആശുപത്രി മോര്‍ച്ചറിയിലുള്ള മയ്യിത്ത് നടപടികള്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കിയ ശേഷം നാട്ടിലെത്തിച്ച് മറവ് ചെയ്യും.

ഇതിനായി കെ.എം.സി.സി വെല്‍ഫയര്‍ വിഭാഗം ഭാരവാഹികളായ ഹുസൈന്‍ നിലമ്പൂരിന്റെയും ഇഖ്ബാല്‍ ആനമങ്ങാടിന്റെയും നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ നടപടികള്‍ പരോഗമിക്കുകയാണ്.

Dammam: A native of Malappuram died in a road accident in Saudi Arabia. Vallikunnu Athanikkal native Shoukathali (55) died. Accident occurred this morning on Jubail Dammam Highway while he was travelling from Riyadh to Jubail for work. After his vehicle tyre got punctured, he got out and was hit by oncoming vehicle. He was working in sales sector in Saudi for 20 years. Body kept at Qatif Central Hospital mortuary, will be repatriated after procedures with help of KMCC welfare leaders Hussain Nilambur and Iqbal Anamangad.
